DCEC Cummins 6CTA8.3 series marine main engine is a 6-cylinders in line, 8.3 liters four-strokes engine with 114mm bore and 135mm stroke. DCEC Cummins 6CTA8.3 series marine main engine equipped with Weifu (or BYC) fuel pump. The prime power range of DCEC Cummins 6CTA8.3 series marine main engine is from 138 kW to 190 kW.
DCEC marine main engines have different configurations which have different power output, with code T in the engine model name means turbocharged engine, code TA in the engine model means turbocharge with water-air intercooler and code TAA in the engine model means turbocharge with air-air intercooler. Based on standard DCEC marine main engines, SeaMac provides both heat exchanger cooling and keel cooling marine main engines, we also provide complete propulsion system that including marine engine, gearbox, shaft, propeller as complete power system.
