Iron-based friction materials are made of iron as the main element, adding some non-metallic elements, using powder metallurgy method. It is mainly used in dry brakes. The material has high coefficient of dynamic and static friction, high torque transmission, high temperature resistance, and is suitable for harsh working conditions. Brakes and clutches made of this material have a simple structure and can be used with ordinary steel or powder metallurgical materials to form a friction pair. Iron-based friction materials can be used in special vehicle main clutch, brake, marine machinery, vehicle brake pad, etc.
The maximum dynamic friction coefficient of iron-based friction materials is 0.35/0.55, static friction coefficient of 0.45/0.5, the wear rate of ≤ 1 ~ 5 × 10-7cm3 / J, the allowable specific pressure of 1 ~ 5 MPa.
As the official agent of Advance, SeaMac provides complete transmission systems for global engineering products, and we also provide full life cycle As the official agent of Advance, SeaMac provides complete transmission systems for global engineering products, and we also provide full life cycle services for all customers, from design to power system supply, from installation to commissioning, from sales service training to spare parts Supply, technical support from troubleshooting to overhaul.
1. Friction factor is stable, pressure, speed and temperature have little effect on it, and the difference between dynamic and static friction factors is small.
2. High heat resistance and good thermal conductivity.
3. High abrasion resistance, no damage to the counterpart surface, good anti-seize performance
4. Even braking and stable jointing in use.
5. good mechanical strength, in use should be able to withstand centrifugal force, shear force and its force and not be destroyed.
6. good anti-corrosion properties.
7. low economic cost and good economy
