Iron-based friction materials are made of iron as the main element, adding some non-metallic elements, using powder metallurgy method. It is mainly used in dry brakes. The material has high coefficient of dynamic and static friction, high torque transmission, high temperature resistance, and is suitable for harsh working conditions.
